LA BAND 🎷 CHE ALLIETERA’ LA VOSTRA SERATA
Métromusette è la band romana dedicata alle più importanti composizioni francesi della prima metà del ‘900 e ai grandi interpreti francesi ed internazionali che hanno diffuso in tutto il mondo la musica di Trenet, Piaf, Kosma, Betti, Django e non solo. Alcuni brani del repertorio restano poetici e sognanti come l’epoca nella quale sono nati: l’era dei grammofoni nelle case e le fisarmoniche nelle piazze. Altri brani invece sono completamente riarrangiati e ripensati per creare un suggestivo trait d’union tra la Francia, l’Europa e le Americhe. Ispirati dall’amore per la lingua e per la musica francese degli anni ’30, ’40 e ’50, i Métromusette presentano uno spettacolo musicale raffinato e brioso che evoca le magiche notti nella Ville Lumière. Dai brani popolari, passando per lo swing, la valse musette e il jazz francese, vi basterà chiudere gli occhi per immaginarvi a passeggio sulle rive della Senna, avvolti da un’atmosfera trés retrò.
Métromusette is the Roman band dedicated to the most important French compositions of the first half of the 20th century and to the great French and international interpreters who have spread the music of Trenet, Piaf, Kosma, Betti, Django and others all over the world. Some pieces of the repertoire remain poetic and dreamy like the era in which they were born: the era of gramophones in the houses and the accordions in the squares. Other tracks are completely rearranged and rethought to create an evocative trait d’union between France, Europe and the Americas. Inspired by the love of the French language and music of the ’30s,’ 40s and ’50s, the Métromusette present a refined and lively musical show that evokes the magical nights in the Ville Lumière. From popular songs, through swing, the musette and the French jazz, you just close your eyes to imagine walking along the banks of the Seine, wrapped in a retro atmosphere.
